Since launching niche perfume house ORTIR Apothecari just last year I've had lots of people get in touch to tell me stories of how they once enjoyed creating their own perfumes and, much like me, it all began as a child during the long summer holidays pulling off prized flower petals and letting them steep in jam jars.
Nowadays I get to play on a much grander scale. My jam jar is an industrial stainless steel still and my prize petals are grown by the acre. I’ve come a long way since my early forays into perfume.
The perfume industry is such a fascinating world and one that I enjoy immensely. I am so excited for the adventures that lie ahead for ORTIR Apothecari - more, much more of which I promise to share with you later this year and in my opinion, they will all add up to many more days well spent.
