Snowy scenes are back in season here at our independent Welsh perfume house ORTIR Apothecari bringing with them the sharp breath of winter.
Coupled with a frantic feeling of too much to do.
Recently stranded on our local mountain pass, my exhale an escaped puff of warmth, I found myself knee-deep in drift*
It got me wondering about the logic behind wishing for a white Christmas when we are all feeling too busy to enjoy it.
Our enforced stop in wintry tracks led me to thinking that now more than at any other time of the year planning ahead was in order (I am traditionally a last-minute shopper – Christmas Eve my day of choice).
With this in mind I would like to tell you that our final date for guaranteed Christmas delivery this year is Tuesday 16 December – the goal being to stay one step ahead.
It may feel a tad early but let me now wish you a very Merry Christmas,
In doing so we shall all of us have more time for warm mince pies and festive cheer.
