I recognise the sentiment from the guys at Stèle who describe it as “a tapestry of comfort and belonging, stitched with the essence of the familiar” and can understand why it is “a thoughtful choice” in Bloom Perfumery’s edit For Mum.

And as a perfumer I am fascinated by how individual raw ingredients behave.
